“No Breathing Room“, one of five vignettes from my play ALABAMA BOUND, will be published by Applause Theatre and Cinema Books’ “Later Chapters II: The Best Scenes for Actors over 50.” Applause Books is one of the oldest and most respected publishers of theater and movie books. “No Breathing Room” is one of my favorite pieces ever: the story of Loretta who, after receiving devastating news, forces a showdown with her under-employed husband Donald and her tyrannical mother-in-law Noonie. The collection will be available in drama and other bookstores throughout the nation next March.
