“No Breathing Room“, one of five vignettes from my play ALABAMA BOUND, will be published by Applause Theatre and Cinema Books’ “Later Chapters II: The Best Scenes for Actors over 50.” Applause Books is one of the oldest and most respected publishers of theater and movie books. “No Breathing Room” is one of my favorite pieces ever: the story of Loretta who, after receiving devastating news, forces a showdown with her under-employed husband Donald and her tyrannical mother-in-law Noonie. The collection will be available in drama and other bookstores throughout the nation next March.
IndieTheatreNow published my play, ALABAMA BOUND, in its “Best of the 2013 NYC Fringe Collection.” It was one of fewer that two dozen plays chosen from almost 200 plays presented in the Fringe Festival. If you are interested in reading the play, visit IndieTheatreNow.com and enter my name and the play for a download.
